Glenwood Wesleyan Church, located at 403 Hagood St., Easley, SC, is a welcoming congregation with a friendly atmosphere and a big heart. We love Jesus first and foremost, believing that He died on the cross for everyone, making it possible for our sins to be forgiven and for us to have a personal relationship with Him.
We love people next. We care for each other as a family, encouraging each other in the Lord, praying for each other, and supporting each other as needs arise. We love our community and strive to make connections, to pray for community concerns, to share Jesus, and to praise God for His work in the neighborhood.
The ministry of Glenwood Wesleyan Church includes active support of local and foreign missions, Sunday School classes, a Sunday AM worship service with infant/toddler nursery, Wednesday evening prayer and Bible study, church and community prayer ministries, and multiple community outreach events.
We invite you to join us in worship!
Desiring to help spread the Gospel throughout the world, Glenwood Wesleyan Church has a heart for missions, both local and foreign. We love new opportunities to show Jesus to the world. Examples of our local partnering include Hope Women’s Center and United Christian Ministries. On the foreign front, we team with Gideons International and Global Partners, with particular support for Nicole Casey, missionary to Turkey.
Glenwood Wesleyan Church established Care Connection in hopes that many Bible-believing churches and the community at large would see the effort and join in providing new clothes, bedding, car seats, etc., for the kinship families of Pickens County. It is our desire that we will encourage these families, help carry their load by providing for some of their tangible needs, and share the good news of God’s love.
This ministry was developed through coordination with the Pickens County Department of Social Services and in close cooperation with them. We believe that God calls His church to look after the orphans and the widows and these children are truly domestic orphans.
Care Connection opened Feb. 1, 2024 and is housed in the church parsonage, now known as Care Cottage. Families registered with Pickens County DSS may visit the Care Cottage on Tuesdays from 9-1 & Thursdays from 12-4. For details, call (864) 855-2888.
Glenwood Wesleyan Church is a praying church. We know that life is often troubled, but we believe that God answers prayer as we pray according to His will. Jesus cares about our hurts, and He offers rest when we come to Him.
Glenwood Wesleyan invites you to share prayer concerns with us. In the corner of our church yard, we have a locked prayer box where you may place prayer requests. We monitor the box regularly and promptly alert our prayer team when we receive a
request. You can be assured that we pray faithfully and expectantly. We also love to hear when God has answered prayer!
